I. The studio creates a space to feel welcomed, be/find yourself, your own strengths, feel empowered and connected.

II. to explore movement and wellbeing. The classes offer an amazing approach to a sustainable and healing way of moving – connecting body and mind through breath and movement. They give you the tools and freedom to explore, to get in touch with yourself and others, to use your senses, discover and question existing and learned patterns, perspectives and constructs, while supporting creativity and autonomy.

Practicing how to relax, feel good and moving well regularily in an easy and playful way, decreases stress, helps to experience of ones own abilities and expand boundaries. It can open up the mind, enable new ideas and increase your sensitivity and awareness. It is a great way to connect!

You are dearly invited to flow with me in Düsseldorf, Germany!

Classes are guided in German, but can be bilingual (German/English), too.

HOW I LEARNED TO MOVE ELEGANTLY?

Alexandra’s Evolution - light. space. movement., the method - breaking shapes, expanding movement & experience

Over the past 12 years, I have gained a lot of experience, completed the full range of Strala Yoga* Trainings, a Functional Anatomy and Physiology, as well as a Functional Trainer certification from TU Munich and have also attended other movement trainings, such as Barre.

But first and foremost, I have achieved my own practice. Developing my personal technique through practice, the work with my clients, students and surfing. A direct connection with nature, movement, balance with the necessity to stay soft and move well.

I teach my clients and students a holistic, sustainable and safe movement technique and approach that they can apply to anything they do. My aim is to give you tools, that you can integrate and take with you, wherever you go and whatever you do.

Breathe, Soften & Play. Big emphasis on play and you will totally transform your movement, your body and how you feel in your own skin!

*Strala Yoga is a fantastic style of yoga created by Tara Stiles and Mike Taylor in NYC, and “combines the movement and healing wisdom of tai chi with the practice forms of yoga, tai chi, qigong, and Traditional Chinese Medicine, as a way to help people release stress, heal, and move more easily through all kinds of challenge.” - Strala Yoga

There are a few words that are very important to me thinking about my yoga, movement and healing research, practice and teachings for:

THE NAME: Light. Space. Movement.

There is a strong connection between the experience of art & aesthetics, movement and feeling well in your body.

Visitng the Doug Wheeler exhibition at David Zwirner in New York initiated the idea for the studio and mindful movement projects. At the time, wildpalms already existed and the need to to experience practicing mindful, natural movement in an environment connected to art grew – Why? Art offers a special way to interact with and see the world, an approach filled with an enriching, sensitive outside the box way of thinking. In this case, it was an environment without corners, edges orendings. Simply, it was impossible to grasp the dimensions of the rooms or make sense of any perspective.

Funny enough, this specific type of art belongs to an artistic movement called light and space movement originated in California in the 60s.
